The “Business Growth” Focus Area aims to support businesses in starting up, scaling, and innovating.

 It includes five key initiatives: 

  1. Unlocking Collaborative Business Opportunities 
  2. Supporting Industry RD&I 
  3. Creating a Cybersecurity Start-Up Ecosystem 
  4. Exports – International Business Opportunities 
  5. Improved Cybersecurity for SMEs

Activities

Cyber Ireland Start-up Forum

Cyber Ireland’s Start-up Forum aims to build a community of CEOs and Founders or Co-Founders cybersecurity start-up leads in Ireland to create a trusted community that can learn from each other, share information, discuss common challenges and solutions, meet peers, and overall help the development of early-stage companies in Ireland.

EU Funding Working Group

Cyber Ireland’s EU Funding Working Group (WG) assists organisations, -particularly Cybersecurity SMEs, to identify and secure EU funding effectively.

Cyber Security Grants

Irish companies exporting must be internationally competitive and digitally focused. Cyber security is critical to protect a company and its customers, as well as being a value-add and differentiator for companies internationally. New grants are being launched by Enterprise Ireland (EI) – Cyber Review Grant – and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) – Cyber Improvement Grant – to improve Irish companies’ cyber security.

  • Attend: our Business Growth events throughout the year. Your organisation’s point of contact will receive the direct invitation. 
  • Speak: Speak at one of our events, webinars or meetings on best practices relating to business growth.  
  • Feedback & Contribute: Provide feedback on the Business Growth activities and volunteer to contribute to one of the activities through our BG Survey
  • Join the committee: If you believe you can lead one of the BG initiatives and contribute to our goal please leave your details in our BG Survey
